Both Teams Back to Winning Ways

Crompark CC News
Both teams returned to winning ways at the weekend with comfortable wins. On Saturday the first XI registered an impressive victory over high-flying 3rd placed Leeds Sikh. Having won the toss, Sikh elected to bat but struggled to 117 all out thanks mainly to Stuart Jones` hat trick and Amit Khullar with 5 wickets for 6 runs.

In reply Crompark knocked off the required runs for the loss of 6 wicket, Rob Davy top-scoring with 36 and Amit Khullar completing a good afternoon with 33 not out.

On Sunday the 2nd XI faced Cookridge B at their main ground. Batting first Cookridge never really had momentum in their batting and posted a total of 130 with I Eccleshall returning with figures of 4-26. Crompark made hard work of the total but in the end comfortably reached the 131 required for the loss of 7 wickets.
